Viventa Secures Chinese Partner for Chilean Copper Portfolio

Viventa is pleased to announce a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Inner Mongolia Xinchuang Metallurgy Group to jointly develop a robust portfolio of copper projects in Chile, with potential expansion into Peru.

Viventa will lead permitting, compliance with Chile’s Mining Code, and stakeholder relations, ensuring alignment with local and indigenous consultation requirements. Inner Mongolia Xinchuang Metallurgy Group, a prominent Chinese firm specializing in nonferrous metals, will provide critical investment capital and technical expertise in mining, processing, and metallurgical engineering. With decades of experience in resource development and global trade, Inner Mongolia Xinchuang Metallurgy Group enhances the partnership with advanced EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) capabilities and operational insights to optimize copper production.

Together, the parties aim to deliver sustainable returns through integrated operations, recurring cash flows, and a phased, risk-managed approach to expansion. A joint Steering Committee and risk management framework will ensure alignment and resilience across regulatory, environmental, and market challenges. This collaboration positions Viventa to meet rising global copper demand, driven by the energy transition.
